Development sizzle reels are where the LA industry connection runs deepest. I've edited development reels that got greenlit at Lionsgate, Universal Entertainment, 101 Studios, and Religion of Sports — proof-of-concept packages that moved from pitch to production. Soul Power: The Legend of the American Basketball Association premiered on Amazon Prime Video in February 2026, executive produced by Dr. J Julius Erving and Common. The Gotti Files — eight episodes for A&E, produced by Propagate Content and Lady Moon Entertainment, announced at the A&E 2026 Upfronts — is the series I'm currently editing as Co-Executive Editor.
On the narrative feature side, my debut Grace Point (2023) was directed by Rory Karpf — a Sports Emmy-winning director whose television credits run deep across ESPN, UFC, and major network documentary production. The film stars Andrew McCarthy and John Owen Lowe (son of Rob Lowe), with Jim Parrack. It premiered at the 2023 Santa Barbara International Film Festival — a festival with strong industry ties to the Los Angeles film community — and is now streaming on Tubi, Amazon, and Apple TV.
Short narrative film credits include Lex Talionis (dir. P.M. Nelson, currently in post), Underfunded (dir. Tommy Joe Martins), and Flowers (written by Din Thomas, UFC legend). Television credits span Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, A&E, TNT/HBO Max, ESPN, Peacock/NFL Films, and USA Network.

Production company co-founded by Tom Brady, Michael Strahan, and Gotham Chopra. Sports storytelling at the intersection of culture and identity. Development material that had to match the company's cinematic standard for non-fiction sports content.

Dir. P.M. Nelson — An award-winning director. Currently in post. Short narrative treated as a complete work — structure, performance, and rhythm held to the same standard as a feature.
Dir. Tommy Joe Martins — NASCAR owner turned first-time director. Working with directors outside the traditional film pathway means building editorial language from the ground up, which is among the more interesting problems in narrative post.
Written by Din Thomas — UFC legend. Thomas brings the same specificity that made him a compelling figure in combat sports: grounded, character-first storytelling. The editorial task was honoring that voice while shaping a film.

It reflects standing in the editing community that is not purchased — it is recognized. In the Los Angeles market, ACE membership is the clearest professional signal an editor can carry.

The BFE's international standing is particularly relevant for Los Angeles productions with transatlantic or international co-production structures, or for productions seeking talent whose professional credibility extends beyond the domestic market.
